Conan Gray 의 Wish you were sober 입니다! 

사실 우리나라에서는 Maniac이라는 노래로 더 잘 알려져 있는 가수죠. 

코난을 정말 좋아하는 사람으로서 유명해진 것은 정말 좋지만,,, 

 

저만 아는 가수였으면 했는데 너무 대중적으로 알려진 것에 대한 속상함은 ㅜㅜ 어쩔 수 없는거겠죠?

Dip: 떠나다, 나가버리다 (은어) 

 

사실 Dip이라는 단어의 뜻은 잠깐 담그다, 내려가게 하다 라는 의미이지만

요즘 10대 사이들에서는 야 가자, 야 나가자 등의 뜻으로 사용되고 있습니다. 

 

Let's dip = 야 나가버리자. 

등의 뜻입니다.

Gotta bounce은 나 지금 가야돼, 가봐야 돼 라는 뜻으로 

이 역시 gotta go 보다는 10대 은어로 사용되는 단업니다.

라는 뜻으로 해석됩니다.

이 역시 은어로는 러브샷의 의미를 가지고 있습니다.

컵을 거래하는 것처럼 보이기 때문인데 

Trade라고 말합니다.

코난 그레이의 음악 자체가 굉장히 Young한 10대의 정서를 잘 담고 있기 때문에

가사 속에서도 10대들이 많이 쓰는 용어들이 종종 많이 쓰입니다.

 

특히 wish you were sober의 경우에는

테일러 스위프트의 바이럴 효과를 톡톡하게 본 곡인데요

이렇게 공식 인스타그램 스토리에 코난 그레이의 앨범에 미쳐있다. 

"Obessed with" 라고 말하며

"Masterpiece"라고 까지 말하며 칭찬을 아끼지 않아

테일러 스위프트의 팬들이 대거 이 노래를 듣는 예상치 못한 바이럴 효과를 얻게 된 곡입니다. 

 

그러자 코난 그레이의 공식 뮤비 유튜브 영상에 이런 댓글들이 달리기 시작했는데요. 

 

 

나는 코난을 테일러가 말하기 전부터 알았다면 좋아요를 눌러주세요. 

 

자신이 진짜 코난의 찐팬이라며
